JUNE 25, 2014 • DFC Intelligence has announced that for the second time this year they are significantly raising their five-year video game forecast.  Overall game software revenue is expected to go from $64 billion in 2014 to $100 billion in 2018.  This includes revenue from PC games, console games and mobile games, but does not include hardware spending on game devices. Destiny Franchise Has $500 Million Price Tag

MAY 6, 2014 • Activision Blizzard chief executive Bobby Kotick told financial executives at this week’s Milken Institute Global Conference in Los Angeles last week that with the $500 million bet his company was making on Bungie Inc.’s Destiny franchise could only be made on owned IP.
