Video games are a major driver for consumers purchasing PC desktops and laptops. There is a growing group of enthusiasts that build their own gaming PC rig and carefully customize the system with individual components.
The DFC Intelligence Consumer Perspectives program regularly asks our panel of consumers about their opinions on purchasing PC game hardware. This includes looking at the refresh cycle, do-it-yourself builds, and brand perception.

The results of the survey are available in a summary Excel report. There is also the option to subscribe to our full survey program which includes reports and full data results, or purchase a survey’s full data results via Excel/CVS/SPSS. Premium subscribers have the ability to add custom questions to future surveys.
DFC Intelligence has a consumer panel consisting of thousands of gamers who are regularly surveyed. In our consumer perspective program, most topics are surveyed at least once a year. Generally, a survey will be of 1,000 to 2,000 consumers and include open-ended responses. If a survey is older than six months on purchase clients receive the next survey on the same topic at no extra charge!
