Forge was first introduced with Halo 3 back in 2007 and was redesigned for Halo 5 to add more control. Nintendo NX Console Set For March 2017

APRIL 27, 2016 • Nintendo Co. Ltd. released its consolidated financial statements for the fiscal year ending March 31, and in the small print was a statement that the Nintendo NX console would be released in March 2017. GameStop Launches GameTrust

APRIL 19, 2016 • Only last January Insomniac Games, Inc. came to an agreement with retailer GameStop Corp. to publish the studio’s Song of the Deep 2D adventure side-scroller exclusively at retail. Although the title for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC is not expected to ship until July, GameStop has announced it is moving forward with a new publishing arm called GameTrust. Riot Games Acquires Radiant

MARCH 10, 2016 • Riot Games has acquired Los Altos, Calif.-based Radiant Entertainment for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition is the first for Riot. Radiant was founded in 2013 by brothers Tom and Tony Cannon. Their first title is the crowdfunded town building simulation game, Stonehearth, which is still in alpha. Frank Gibeau Becomes Zynga CEO

MARCH 3, 2016 • Former Electronic Arts, Inc. executive vice president of EA Mobile, Frank Gibeau, has signed on to become the next chief executive officer of Zynga Inc. He has been on Zynga’s board last fall.
