Nintendo Taiwan Office is Closed

APRIL 22, 2014 • After 23 years in operation Nintendo is closing down its Taiwan branch on May 31. Most employees of Nintendo Taiwan (Nintendo Phuten Co., Ltd.) in Taipei will exit the office by the end of April, however. MARCH 28, 2014 • Tencent Holdings Ltd. continued its investment in significant game companies taking a 28% stake in South Korea’s CJ Games Corp for $500 million.
