FEB. 10, 2008 • The second E for All expo will stay in October. Conference owner IDG World Expo had previously decided to move the event to the last week of August opposite the Penny Arcade Expo. Citing a positive reaction the inaugural E For All that drew 18,000 attendees last October at the Los Angeles Convention Center, IDG decided on Oct. 3-5 this year.

Impact: It appears as if IDG is still looking for ways to fine tune E for All’s appeal. Whether the desire to move the expo to August would have made the event more appealing to consumers, or the industry, is hard to say. But with only 18,000 attendees as a baseline, not conflicting with another show in the calendar was smart.
