Nintendo released it new DSi in Japan two weeks later on Nov. 1, and saw sales of 170,779 in its first two days, according to Enterbrain.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\" data-mce-mark=\"1\"><em>Impact: The PSP has had a very strong year in Japan.\u00a0 The new DSi was launched in response to slowing Japan sales for the original system.\u00a0 If it wasn&#8217;t for the massive success of the DS, people would be paying a lot more attention to the strong PSP sales.
