This marked the first time that mobile games surpassed PC\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">games in iResearch&#8217;s estimate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Impact:\u00a0The China market is hard to nail down exactly and many firms will have\u00a0different estimates when it comes to market size. For the past decade, DFC\u00a0Intelligence has worked with iResearch and found their estimates to be the\u00a0most realistic and detailed. This is because the company 1) focuses on\u00a0tracking actual consumer behavior across a large sample base (millions of\u00a0users) and 2) tends to be conservative in their forecasts and able to avoid\u00a0the latest hype. The growth of mobile games in China is no surprise and the\u00a0main issue is what will be the longer term impact on the China game market.\u00a0DFC agrees with iResearch that as PC gaming has started to level off, mobile\u00a0gaming will also mature in the next year or two. \u00a0The end result is a\u00a0leveling off in the China game market. Of course, this is not a decline and\u00a0more a sign of a maturing market. When you reach such mass appeal it is\u00a0hard to have year-over-year double digit growth.
